‘The 2000 candles of Tenebrae’
On Sunday 13th April, Tenebrae was the featured choir of the hour-long radio programme ‘Chant Libre’ on Swiss classical radio station ‘Espace 2’.

The programme featured interviews with the groups artistic director Nigel Short and its Swiss manager Mme Barbara Pollock.

Excerpts were taken from Tenebrae recordings of Allegri’s ‘Miserere’, Talbot’s ‘Path of Miracles’, Mozart ‘Requiem’, Berlioz ‘L’Enfance du Christ’ and lighter arrangements of Pachebel’s ‘Canon’ and Ravel’s ‘Apres un Reve’.

The choir’s ‘Choeur de Lumiere’ candlelit spectacular was also previewed for its return to Geneva Cathedral in the Autumn.
