Tenebrae Management

Alexandra Davies

Alexandra Davies

Chief Executive

Alex studied music at university, where she sang as a choral scholar and ran her college music society. After graduating she spent three years working in the retail sector, before realising how much she missed collaborating with musicians. In an early career change, she took on an administrative role at a specialist opera company before joining Tenebrae in 2019. In her spare time she still sings, rehearsing fortnightly with a small group of friends. Alex’s favourite Tenebrae recording is Poulenc’s set of Quatre petites prières de saint François d’Assise. Recorded in their original setting for men’s voices, these short miniatures are perfectly formed and beautifully introspective.
