Tenebrae will be performing its new programme of Brahms and Bruckner Motets in the exquisite surroundings and acoustic of St. James’s Church, Spanish Place (London). Seamlessly entwining old and new with notable musical influences from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, these motets endure as masterpieces of the sacred style in the nineteenth century.

As part of this concert, Tenebrae is delighted to be welcoming the winners of the Locus Iste amateur choir competition, the very talented Epiphoni Consort, for a collaborative performance in celebration of the exceptional choral talent currently active in the UK.

This concert will mark the launch of the Tenebrae’s new album on Signum Records featuring this repertoire, profits from the sale of which will go to Macmillan Cancer Support to aid their incredible work.
