As Easter approaches, the Tenebrae Consort  guide us on a musical and spiritual journey from affliction to hope through some masterpieces of the Renaissance including works by Victoria, Palestrina, Byrd.

The programme features a selection from Victoria’s Tenebrae Responsories and Lamentations for Holy Saturday alongside the captivating ‘Versa est in luctum’ by his contemporary Alonso Lobo.
