We are delighted to make our first performance in Denmark with a programme showcasing Tenebrae’s trademark passion and precision. In an exploration of music for Lent, we combine the motets by Victoria with Poulenc, and the hauntingly beautiful Miserere by James MacMillan. We also present two of J. S. Bach’s iconic motets, full of joy and devotion, along with Schöenberg’s Friede auf Erden (Peace on Earth).
