From darkness to light and from light to darkness, seven spiritual concerts journey through the 24 hours of a day in this unique event. Tenebrae joins forces with ensembles form eastern, central and western Europe, presenting Christian church music from the monophony of Gregorian chant to the courtly music of the early classical period, culminating with one of the greatest scores of the Renaissance, the forty-part motet “Spem in alium” by Thomas Tallis.

Tenebrae will appear at the Kirche am Hohenzollernplatz with the vocal ensemble Sirventes Berlin at the following times:
