Actor Clive Mantle plays the role of The Writer in this evening of music and words for the festive season. A Christmas Conversation features a newly commissioned script from Garth Bardsley, punctuated by familiar carols and lesser-known musical gems. The audience will be taken on a winter’s journey through memories of Christmases past – from the simple joys of music-making and storytelling to wintry walks and precious time spent with friends and family.

Featuring spectacular music for Advent and Christmas, it will include favourites such as Once in Royal David’s City and In the Bleak Midwinter alongside music by some of today’s most exciting composers.
