An evening of music and words for the festive season. A Christmas Conversation features a newly commissioned script from Garth Bardsley, punctuated by familiar carols and lesser-known musical gems. Join Tenebrae on a winter’s journey through memories of Christmases past – from the simple joys of music-making and storytelling to wintry walks and precious time spent with friends and family. With spectacular music for Advent and Christmas, this programme includes favourites such as Once in Royal David’s City and In the Bleak Midwinter alongside music by some of today’s most exciting composers. We are thrilled to welcome back Clive Mantle, who will perform the spoken role of ‘The Writer’ in the concert.
