Join Tenebrae at Wigmore Hall for this exciting new programme featuring Frank Martin’s Mass for double choir. The programme journeys through music old and new, and includes innovative works by contemporary composers such as Roderick Williams alongside the renowned Byrd and Mendelssohn. This programme features two world premieres, Ivo Antognini’s Dum Aurora and Jessica Ulusoy-Horsley’s In Between, as well as a UK premiere of Colour of Light’s Sound. Barber’s famous Adagio for Strings has been reworked for choir to create the Agnus Dei you’ll hear this evening, and the centerpiece of the programme is preceded by Poulenc’s haunting Lenten motets .
