Join Tenebrae for this exciting programme featuring Frank Martin’s Mass for double choir. The programme journeys through music old and new, and includes innovative works by contemporary composers Roderick Williams and Jessica Ulusoy-Horsley alongside the legendary Byrd and Mendelssohn. Barber’s famous Adagio for Strings has been reworked for choir to create the Agnus Dei you’ll hear this evening, and the centerpiece of the programme is preceded by Poulenc’s haunting Lenten motets .
