Join us for a lunchtime concert featuring a consort‑sized ensemble from Tenebrae, presenting a varied programme that spans Renaissance masterworks through to contemporary choral writing. The performance includes madrigals by Lassus, Bennett, Gibbons, Weelkes and Morley, alongside movements from William Byrd’s Mass for Four Voices and his Laudibus in Sanctis. The programme continues with modern contributions from Morten Lauridsen and Bob Chilcott, as well as Arthur Sullivan’s The Long Day Closes. This programme includes fun storytelling pieces and well-known favourites performed in an intimate setting that highlights the clarity and blend of the consort.
