Undiscovered Voices: A Competition for Emerging Composers

We are thrilled to announce Undiscovered Voices: a competition for emerging composers. In preparation for our 25th Anniversary in the 2026-27 season, we are looking for fresh voices, unexpected ideas, and new perspectives in choral music.
The competition is open to UK residents over 18 years old, and is aimed at self-defined ‘emerging’ composers. We actively welcome and encourage applications from those currently under-represented in the choral music sector, particularly composers identifying as people of colour, female and non-binary composers, and composers from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
