Undiscovered Voices: A Competition for Emerging Composers
The deadline is approaching for our composition competition, launched to celebrate our 25th Anniversary next season. For 25 years, Tenebrae has championed the finest choral music, from ancient traditions to bold new works, and we want to hear from you! We are looking for fresh voices, unexpected ideas, and new perspectives in choral music.
The competition is open to UK residents over 18 years old, and is aimed at self-defined ‘emerging’ composers. We actively welcome and encourage applications from those currently under-represented in the choral music sector, particularly composers identifying as people of colour, female and non-binary composers, and composers from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
