Nigel Short will be visiting the Eton Choral Courses in August 2014 to work with aspiring young singers. Speaking about the course, Nigel says:
I’m very much looking forward to meeting and working with the youngsters on the ECC having heard so many great things from other conductors who have worked on the course before. Helping and enthusing these youngsters is such an important step in securing a great future for choral music in the UK that I’m very proud to be a part of it and hope we can achieve some magical results together.
Nigel will be taking part in Course 4, which is due to take place in Cheltenham College. The singers will be focusing on repertoire that includes works by Tallis, Howells, Parry and Tavener. There are still a few places available on Course 4 for those who would like to take this opportunity. Visit their website for details on how to apply
