Tenebrae are privileged to have performed at the Best of British event at Guildhall in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal last night. Performing two very contrasting pieces, (Tavener Song for Athene and Peacock Veni, Veni) the choir kicked off the evening’s entertainment. Award winning violinist Nicola Benedetti also performed at the event, which was hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Roger Gifford. Among the attendees was HRH The Earl of Wessex and at the end of the evening Six of the Best serenaded guests as they enjoyed a nightcap. You can find out more about the event here.
