Join Tenebrae as they celebrate the launch of the new CD of the Victoria’s Requiem on the Signum Classics Label. This spiritually uplifting piece from the Spaniard Tomás Luis de Victoria, who died 400 years ago, will take place in the fantastic medieval surroundings of the Priory Church of St Bartholomew-the-Great, which will be filled with candles for the occasion. Come and hear the current BBC Music Magazine choral award 2011 nominee. Also on the program is the Alonso Lobo’s celebrated Versa est in luctum.
