We are absolutely delighted to share that we have won an Opus Klassik Award for our performance of Handel’s Messiah with the Academy of Ancient Music. We were awarded the ‘Orchestra/Ensemble Live Performance of the Year’ prize for our performance in Wiesbaden on 6th December 2024. In Nigel’s words, performing the Messiah is always a joy; our soloists Grace Davidson, Martha McLorinan, Nick Pritchard and Matthew Brook, and the instrumentalists of AAM were outstanding, and it was a golden opportunity for him to be able to enjoy such wonderful music. We are incredibly grateful to Opus Klassik for this honor, and are very touched to be among such distinguished winners.
