Gail Rimeika

Learning & Connection Producer

Combining her background as a pianist and her passion for challenging our preconceptions, Gail joins Tenebrae with 12 years’ experience working within a wide range of music charities and organisations. She believes that participatory music-making can enrich one’s life in many different ways, and that everyone should be given the opportunity to be able to discover their artistic side. Gail has produced a wide range of projects which have focused on bringing classical music to people who would otherwise not experience it. Past highlights have included bringing Opera to babies, creating new music with children of all ages and abilities, and bringing music to people living with terminal illnesses and dementia. All these projects have aimed to bring a breath of fresh air to participants, and encourage creativity and self-expression. In her role as Learning & Connection Producer, Gail hopes to foster a nurturing environment to support all of the people impacted by Tenebrae’s education work and to develop their confidence as music-makers, whatever their musical background may be.
